Reading Specialists
The ARI should fund full-time reading specialists in every ARI school
In return, the ARI should verify that everyone hired as an ARI reading specialist has in-depth, hands-on experience in the theory and practice of research-based literacy instruction
This will encourage state universities actually to teach the complete approach to literacy so their graduates will qualify for work as ARI reading specialists
