Test Data - Evaluating Schools

• ARI performance was evaluated by comparing

  • the gain in ARI scores to
  • the gain in scores of students not in ARI schools
  • This evaluation could begin only in the 4th grade since it requires year-earlier test results

• By this measure, students in ARI schools - in all cohorts and all 3 years - showed greater year to year gains than students in other schools
